At Get Your Gadgets, we want you to love your purchase. We are committed to complying with Australian Consumer Law (ACL), ensuring your rights are protected.
Your Rights Under Australian Consumer Law
As per the ACL, you are entitled to a repair, replacement, or refund if a product is:
- Faulty or unsafe
- Significantly different from its description or sample
- Unfit for purpose
We are not required to provide a refund or replacement if you change your mind, so please choose carefully.
Returns Process
To request a return, please contact us through our contact page with your order details within 14 days of receiving your item. Include:
- Your order number
- A detailed description of the issue
- Clear photos or video evidence (if applicable)
We will assess your request and respond within 4 business days with instructions.
Conditions for Returns
To be eligible for a return:
- The item must be in its original packaging
- It must not have been damaged due to misuse
- It must be accompanied by proof of purchase (e.g. order confirmation)
Depending on the item and supplier location, you may be required to return the product to a nominated warehouse or supplier address (international return shipping may apply).
Refunds & Replacements
If your return is approved:
- Refunds will be issued to your original payment method within 5–10 business days
- Replacements will be sent with a new tracking number at no extra cost
If the item must be returned, we will inform you whether return shipping is covered or to be paid by you, depending on the nature of the fault.
Exclusions
Returns are not accepted for:
- Change of mind (unless otherwise stated)
- Items damaged due to incorrect use or handling
- Sale or clearance items (unless faulty)
